Grow a collection around decks you will use
Build toward a deck you want to play. Check current rewards and card offers before you spend dust or money.
Choose a playable goal
Look at the cards you own. Find a deck or class you want to learn, then list the cards still needed.
Separate cards the plan needs from optional upgrades. A few costly cards may be less useful than a full set of cards that work together.
Try free, starter, or loaner choices when the game offers them. Read the current terms. Rewards, bundles, and limits can change. An old guide may describe an offer that has ended.
Use dust with care
Disenchanting turns a card into dust. Getting that card back later usually costs more dust than you received.
Before dusting a card, ask whether you may use it or need it for a group of cards. Check any announced refund in the live game or official notice. Read the amount and deadline. Do not assume every balance change gives the same refund.
Craft cards that help complete a working deck. A card used in several decks can be a good choice if you want those decks and they fit this site's Standard scope. Rarity and hype alone are poor reasons to craft.
You can wait
Deck lists can change quickly after a release or patch. If unsure, keep learning a deck you own while more games are played. You do not need to chase each daily trend.
Looks do not add power
Signature cards are special-looking versions of cards. They are not stronger. If your goal is to learn or climb ranks, a working deck comes first.
