35.0.3 — First post-rotation balance adjustments
This early CATACLYSM update weakens some strong cards and gives other cards better stats.
Released April 2, 2026
The first large post-rotation update aims to reduce very strong starts and help other deck plans.
Selected nerfs
- Crystalspine Cub: 1/2 → 1/1.
- Wildwood Circle: three → four Mana.
- Skywall Sentinel: 0/3 → 0/2.
- Gladiatorial Combat: five → six Mana.
Selected buffs
- Maniacal Follower: 3/1 → 4/1.
- Obsessive Technician: 2/5 → 3/5.
- The Black Blood: 4/8 → 5/9.
- Black Blood's Body: three-cost 1/2 → two-cost 2/2.
These changes affect how much damage kills a minion and when cards can be played. Older guides from the start of CATACLYSM may need a fresh look.
