35.4.2 — Strengthening new Class Sets

Mage's Leyline cards and Hunter's Migrating Elekk get buffs. Several other cards also change.

Released May 19, 2026

This update helps parts of the first Class Set wave and weakens some other cards.

Hounds of Fury summons two 3/2 Demons, down from two 3/3s.
Forest's Gift: two → three Mana.
The Arcanomicon: seven → six Mana.
Crystallized Leyline: six → five Mana. Its random summon changes from a six-cost minion to a five-cost minion.
Surge Needle: 3/3 → 3/5.
Migrating Elekk: three-cost 3/4 → two-cost 2/3.
Dragon Soul, Shattered: Storm Aspect Essence deals four damage instead of three to enemy minions. Bronze Aspect Essence refreshes eight crystals instead of seven.

Crystallized Leyline's summon changes again in Patch 35.6.2. Keeping both steps helps explain why older guides use different values.
