Who’s the beatdown?
Ask which player needs to attack and force the game to end. Picking the wrong role can lead to too many trades or a slow game you cannot win.
Example: The opponent has a stronger late game, so you need to pressure their hero and try to finish sooner.

“I need to be the beatdown” means I need to attack because the other player is more likely to win a long game. That role can change during the game.
