36.6.3 — Dragon Warrior and Attack Druid changes
The October 1 balance patch makes Windpeak Wyrm cost more after Kindred and makes Infest the Scullery summon smaller minions.
Released October 1, 2026
Blizzard posted and released patch 36.6.3 on October 1. The Standard changes focus on Dragon Warrior and Attack Druid.
Windpeak Wyrm
Its Kindred effect now cuts its cost by 2 Mana instead of 3. This means the card costs 1 more Mana when the effect is on. Dragon Warrior players need to count that extra Mana before a finishing turn.
Infest the Scullery
It now summons two random 2-Cost minions instead of two random 3-Cost minions. Attack Druid gets a smaller board from the spell. Plan for less power from that play.
What did not change
This patch did not add a new Standard card. It also did not prove a new deck rank or win rate. The Warrior and Druid class guides explain those classes’ core tools and tradeoffs.
